Students from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s Collaborative Product Design class were tasked with evaluating Hamilton Beach’s FlexBrew Trio and recommending redesign opportunities for improving the appliance’s environmental impact.

The team took a multi-step approach to the redesign process that began by evaluating the FlexBrew Trio system as a whole to identify priorities before moving into brainstorming and final design recommendations.
